Richard J. Blake, Sr., 84, of North Kingstown died Sunday at Kent Hospital, Warwick. He was the husband of the late Frances H. (McDole) Blake, R.N. Born in Providence, a son of the late John H. Blake and Emma (Fredette) Stetson. He was employed as an aircraft instrument mechanic at Quonset Point Naval Air Station until his retirement. He is survived by his devoted son Richard J. Blake, Jr. and his wife Katheryn D. Blake of Southbury, CT; his sister Margaret Rajotte of West Warwick; 3 grandchildren; 4 step grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren. He was the brother of the late John H. Blake, Jr. and Madeline DeFosse. His Graveside Committal Service will be held Tuesday November 16m 2010 at 11:15 am in The R.I.
