Mary S. (McDevitt) Arnold, 67, of North Kingstown, died peacefully on June 10, 2010 at Kent Hospital. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Walter E. McDevitt, Sr. and Doris M. (Alarie) McDevitt. She was the loving wife of Lester W. Arnold. Mrs. Arnold was a homemaker and a graduate of St. Patrick High School, Providence. She was a Communicant of St. Francis de Sales Church. Besides her husband, she leaves her four children: Stephen Arnold of North Kingstown, Michael P. Arnold of Coventry, Brian E. Arnold of Coventry, and Nancy L. Martineau of Lincoln. Loving grandmother of six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was the sister of Paul J. McDevitt of North Kingstown, Walter E. McDevitt, Jr. of Cranston, and Martha E. Jones of East Greenwich. She was the sister of the late Eileen M. Kulisch. The funeral will be held Monday, June 14, 2010 at 8:30AM from THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Route 5, Greenwood, Warwick (Exit 12A off I-95) A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Francis de Sales Church, 381 School Street, North Kingstown.
